Other Program Services: DCF Supportive Housing assists women in attaining and maintaining housing and additional community support. School-Based Prevention engages youth in prevention and education groups. Adolescent Treatment Services is a formal assessment and substance abuse treatment program for adolescents who are 12 - 18. Employee Assistance Programs provide confidential counseling and referral services. Gambling Initiative provides counseling and treatment for problem gamblers and their families. Waterbury Transitional Case Management Program is focused on individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, have a substance abuse and mental health disorder, and are involved in the criminal justice system. Healthcare Initiative diverts persons in need of services from unnecessary use of hospital/healthcare services to appropriate treatment services. Case Management Services assist with treatment placement. Contingency Management Studies is a research relationship with UCONN Health Center Department of Psychiatry. Access to Recovery provides treatment for individuals who need substance abuse treatment as well as recovery supports. The Behavioral Health Network provides comprehensive outpatient substance abuse and mental health services for individuals referred by Parole and Community Services. The treatment programs are designed to assist individuals to live substance-free lifestyles and address mental health and behavioral problems.

Activity 3

Therapeutic Shelter: Supportive residential, case management and partial hospitalization treatment services for adult women and men who are waiting for access to slots in programs that provide a higher level of care.
