Activity 2

Elderly services - team inc. Provides critical services to ensure the wellness and wellbeing of the senior population in the region. Team provides affordable homemaking services for those who find it difficult to keep up their homes and provide subsidized medical transportation to medical appointments. In addition, the agency manages a meals on wheels program which meets senior's nutritional needs through the daily delivery of meals to homebound elderly residents. Through these programs, approximately 1,006 people are served.

Activity 3

Child services - team, inc. Operates several affordable comprehensive early childhood programs that provide quality early care and education. The agency focuses on education to meet children's social, cognitive, physical, emotional, creative, language and cultural developmental needs. Headstart provides a comprehensive child development program that addresses the needs of children and families in the area of education, social services, health, nutrition, disabilities and mental health, and parent involvement. Preschool child care provides full day licensed affordable quality child care to children ages 3 to 5 whose parents are working or in school on a year round basis. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served at no cost to parents. School readiness programs were established to provide 3 and 4 year olds of all economic levels with full day early care and education programs. Through these programs, approximately 920 children are served.
