The council's compensation and benefits committee use the national council's guidelines to determine recommended salary increases which are based on the achievement of performance based objectives. THE COUNCIL'S PROGRAMS ARE CLASSIFIED AS FOLLOWS:CUB SCOUTING:CUB SCOUTING IS A YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM UNIQUELY DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG BOYS AND GIRLS (KINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE) AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE PROGRAM OFFERS FUN AND CHALLENGING ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND PHYSICAL FITNESS.SCOUTS BSA:WITH THE SCOUT OATH AND SCOUT LAW AS GUIDES, AND THE SUPPORT OF PARENTS AND RELIGIOUS AND NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS, SCOUTS DEVELOP AN AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF THEIR ROLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND BECOME WELL-ROUNDED YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN THROUGH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE PROGRAM.
