Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8B

Individual committees do not have formal documentation of meetings. Any important information or action items would be mentioned in full board meetings and documented at that level.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

Form is reviewed by director of finance and administration. Once reviewed, the board of directors is provided with a draft of the 990. They review the draft and ask any questions or note any changes that should be made before finalization of the return.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The conflict of interest policy is monitored on two levels. The policy is reviewed with the association's workforce upon hire and on-going review and training. Employees sign a conflict of interest statement. The second level is with the board of directors. Annually each board member signs a conflict of interest statement and any conflicts are resolved by the board president and the executive committee of of the board.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15A

The finance committee makes a recommendation for the salary and the review is conducted by the current and past president annually in may/june.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

Association policies and financial statements are made available to the public upon request.

Form 990, Part XII, Line 2C

There have been no changes made to the organization's oversight or selection process during the tax year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART IV, LINE 2B:

The association has a policy requiring residents to save for future support once they leave the shelter programs. These residents' funds held by the association are reported as custodial cash and a corresponding custodial liability on the consolidated statements of financial position.

PART X, LINE 2:

The association has no unrecognized tax benefits at december 31, 2018 and 2017. The association's federal information returns prior to calendar year 2015 are closed and management continually evaluates existing statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings. If the association were to have unrelated business income taxes, the association would recognize interest and penalties associated with uncertain tax positions as part of income tax expense and include accrued interest and penalties with the related tax liability in the statements of financial position.

Related party revenue 16,220.

PART XI, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:
