The organization's declaration of trust was amended to remove the jewish community center of greater boston as a supported organization and added the jewish federation of greater hartford as a supported organization. The trust agreement has a mechanism that allows for trustee and supported organization changes without restating the trust. Supported organizations may be replaced by other jewish charitable organizations offering programs consistent with the mission outlined in the trust document. As the trust agreement was amended during the period, the trustees and supported organizations were updated to reflect the current board.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

To support in perpetuity the mission of the foundation

PART X, LINE 2:

Professional accounting standards provide detailed guidance for the financial statement recognition, measurement and disclosure of uncertain tax positions recognized in an enterprise's financial statements, in accordance with professional standards related to the accounting for income taxes. They require an entity to recognize the financial statement impact of a tax position when it is more likely than not that the position will be sustained upon examination. A tax position is deemed to include such things as the foundation's tax exempt status. Management has evaluated significant tax positions against the criteria established by professional standards and believes there are no such tax positions requiring accounting recognition. The foundation's tax returns are subject to examination by taxing authorities for all years ending on or after august 31, 2015.

PART XI, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Change in market value of real estate limited partnerships 2,331,219.

PART XII, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:
