“The members of the governing body delegate daily operating decisions to the elected executive committee. The executive committee consists of: co-presidents, chief financial officer, chief operating officer, chief of staff, chief design officer, chief communications officer, chief events officers, chief products officer, chief academic officer, chief athletics officer, chief community officer, chief international officer, chief technology officers, chief inclusion officer, chief career and alumni officer, and chief partner and family officer. The members of the governing body (the senate) have voting power. One co-president that is residing at a senate meeting has voting power in instances of a tie.”

“The organization provides form 990 to pwc, an independent tax firm, to review and sign. The completed return is reviewed by the organization's governing board and then signed by the cfo. Prior to filing, the 990 is electronically transmitted to the entire board of directors for review.”

“The individual board members and officers sign the conflict of interest policy and make disclosures as required. It is submitted to the cfo and accountant who review them. If an individual has a conflict, they are excused from voting on that particular policy or event.”

“The harvard business school student association's (hbssa) mission is to actively enrich and broaden the experience of the student community at the harvard business school both in and out of the classroom. The hbssa is involved with implementing mba program enhancements or other initiatives that improve the student experience and promote camaraderie via orientation, athletic, social, and class day activities. The hbssa also operates a bookstore and concessions for the students on campus.”
