“Annually, all staff and members of the governing body of strive shall disclose on forms provided by strive the existence of any relationships that may be deemed direct or indirect conflicts of interest with the organization. For this purpose, a direct or indirect conflict of interest means any situtation in which an individual has or may be construed to have a direct or indirect personal or financial interest in any business affiars of strive, whether related to a proposed contract or transaction to which strive may be a party or may be considering or simply conceptual because of a similarity of business interests or affairs. Whenever any member of the staff first becaomes aware that he or she has or may have any direct or indirect actual or potential conflict of interest with strive concerning any matter that is before the organization, that individual shall promptly disclose the existence of that conflict of interest in writing to the chair, whether or not the conflict has been previously disclosed in an annual report to thte chair. Individuals deemed to have either a direct or indirect conflict of interest with the organization will be asked to leave the meeting room during any discussion and voting on the matter.”

“The executive directors performance is evaluated annually by the governing body. After reviewing comparable compensation data, the governing body reviews, recommends and approves any changes to the compensation package offered to the executive director.”

“The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial statements available to the public upon request.”
