“A PDF copy of the return is emailed to all officers for review. Any questions from the officers are forwarded to the President/CEO who then forwards to the Organizations outside CPA for clarification and resolutions.”

“The President/CEOs compensation is determined by the officers of the organization. Annually, the President/CEOs performance is evaluated by the officers and her compensation is compared to other professionals in the economic development industry with similiar years of professional experience. These factors are used to set her compensation for the year.”

“The Organizations governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial statements are made available to the public by calling the Organizations office and requesting such documents. They are then provided to the requestor in a timely manner.”

“The organization has six classes of members: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Chairmans and Government & Chamber. The following is the required annual membership fee for each class of member: Bronze: $1,500, Silver: $5,000, Gold: $10,000, Platinum: $25,000, Chairmans: $50,000, Government: City of Boerne & Kendall County: determined on annual basis pursuant to contractual agreement, Chamber: Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce: $1,500, Comfort Chamber of Commerce: $1,500.”

“The Silver, Gold, Platinum and Chairman members are members of the Board of Directors as well as 2 bronze members that are elected by the membership. In addition, The City of Boerne and Kendall County may each appoint 2 members to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors elects the Executive Board which consist of The Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past Chair, 2 at large members elected by the Board of Directors, City Manager of City of Boerne, and a GVTC executive.”
