“3rd eye unlimited is an organization that uses the positive energy of hip hop to engage and empower young people in new bedford and surrounding communities to become a force for change in their city.”

“The 3rd eye open is a free creative arts festival in downtown new bedford, now in its 21st year. The festival highlights the vibrant energy of hip hop culture - from improvisational hip hop to breakdancing to graffiti art - but includes activities appropriate for all ages, from basketball to yoga. The 3rd eye open was first held in 1999 and has been able to expand their programs. A few of our programs include 5 pillars of new bedford which offers mini hip hop pop ups that happen at community centers, parks, beaches, and community events youth leadership academy which is an empowerment workshop series for kids 10-13 open art week is a monthly beginner art class taught by local artists for kids 4 and up 3rd eye open: an annual hip hop festival in downtown new bedford featuring live music, dance exhibitions & battles, live street art, interactive activities and community programmers. Studio-ish: a monthly hang-out in the nb national park maker space and provides opportunity for artists and creatives to mix, mingle, share ideas, work on projects and vibe out in a safe, supportive and inclusive space. This program is open to all ages.”
