Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes standard which requires the organization to report uncertain tax positions, related interest and penalties, and to adjust its assets and liabilities related to unrecognized tax benefits and accrued interest and penalties accordingly. As of june 30, 2012, the organization determined that there are no material unrecognized tax benefits to report. Information returns filed for the years ended june 30, 2019, 2018 and 2017 remain subject to examination by the internal revenue service and the commonwealth of massachusetts. The organization does not expect that the amounts of unrecognized tax benefits will change significantly within the next twelve months.

THEY WILL DEVELOP WCE CHAPTERS IN THOSE COUNTRIES, UTILIZING THE WCE PROCESSES TO COLLECT, REFURBISH, LOAD, AND DISTRIBUTE COMPUTERS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS SERVING YOUTH. THEY WILL ALSO HELP OUR PARTNERS MAINTAIN THEIR COMPUTERS AND PROVIDE SOME TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO SEEK SUPPORT FOR OUR INSPIRE GIRLS INITIATIVE TO DEVELOP SOME RESOURCES FOR OUR PARTNER SCHOOLS TO USE TO ENCOURAGE GIRLS TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND PURSUE CAREERS IN TECHNOLOGY.
