Iowa public employees' retirement system has engaged invesco real estate, an independent management company, to manage all aspects of the entity including preparing the financial statements and tax returns. Iowa public employees' retirement system has the ability to hire and fire the management company at any time, and iowa public employees' retirement system is ultimately responsible for all decisions. Invesco personnel hold the officer positions, but iowa public employees' retirement system has the ability to remove/change officers at any time. Invesco engages a paid preparer to prepare the tax return based on financial statements provided by invesco. Once the return is prepared, it is sent to invesco for review by the accountant assigned to the entity and the officer signing the return. Organization documents and financial statements related to the entity are not made available to the public.”

ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S CODE OF ETHICS, CONDUCT AND INSIDER TRADING POLICY MUST BE PROMPTLY REPORTED TO THE CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER. THE ORGANIZATION TAKES THIS POLICY VERY SERIOUSLY AND WOULD REMOVE ANY INDIVIDUAL INVOLVED IN A CONFLICT OR POTENTIAL CONFLICT FROM INVOLVEMENT IN ANY RELATED MEETING OR DECISION MAKING PROCESS TO ENSURE THE INTEGRITY OF THAT PROCESS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE SEVERE DISCIPLINARY OR OTHER ACTION (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, EMPLOYMENT TERMINATION) AGAINST AN INDIVIDUAL FOR VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY.”
