A special committee is formed to evaluate the executive director. Various poeple are interviewed and comparisons from other organizations are obtained to determine compensation. The chairman of the board of trustees conducts the evaluation. The evaluation and compensation is then approved during an executive session meeting with the board.

OUR PRESCHOOL SERVES CHILDREN AGES TWO YEARS NINE MONTHS TO KINDERGARTEN READY. THE ARRAY OF OOS PROGRAMS INCLUDE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL, EARLY DISMISSAL, SNOW DAY AND SCHOOL VACATION PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AGES FIVE TO TWELVE YEARS OLD. IN ADDITION, WE OFFER SUMMER CAMP FOR BOTH THESE AGE GROUPS. THE GOAL OF OUR PROGRAMS IS TO ENGAGE CHILDREN IN MEANINGFUL, EDUCATIONAL, FUN AND SAFE PROGRAMMING.

OUR SENIORS ARE PART OF A VERY SUPPORTIVE GROUP FOCUSING ON HEALTH, STRENGTH AND WELLNESS. IN THE SUMMER, WE HAVE A BRIDGE CLUB ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS. THE CENTER IS COMMITTED TO MAXIMIZING ACCESS TO THE CENTER'S RESOURCES OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. THE BENEFIT TO THE COMMUNITY IS MULTI-FACETED ALLOWING FOR MANY PROGRAM STRENGTHS TO SHINE THROUGH. THE FOUR PRIMARY STRENGTHS ARE GOOD FOOD AND NUTRITION, SOCIALIZATION AND MAKING CONNECTIONS, SUPPORTING HEALTHY INTERGENERATIONAL INTERACTIONS, AND VOLUNTEERISM.
