To preserve and enhance the quaboag and quacumquasit lakes as public recreational facilities and extend their useful life by improving the quality of the water; to preserve, protect and manage native inhabitant plants and wildlife and ensure their continued role in the lakes'ecosystem; to study, identify and control the spread on non-native species and otherwise improve the condition of the water for recreation and environmental purposes; to educate local residents and lake-users about those concerns that threaten the lakes' survival and to offer viable solutions; to educate lake-users about water and boating safety; and to ensure that the interest of all members and other interested parties are considered in decisions affecting the lakes;
