Our mission is to provide healthcare services to all individuals in our community with dignity, compassion, and respect. The vision of Milford Regional Physician Group is to consistently meet the changing healthcare needs and expectations of the communities we serve.

Milford Regional is a community physician group and as such, draws its board members from the leaders of the communities it serves. Many of the people have business relationships that are not known by Milford Regional.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The organization has a written Code of Business Conduct which states its conflict policy. The by-laws of the organization also include a Conflict of Interest section. Conflict of Interest disclosure statements are mailed annually to the Board of Trustees, senior management and any person who is a member if the Board Committee. The completed form is submitted to the President and CEO, who summarizes the results and provides them to the Board of Trustees for their review and discussion. A subcommittee of the Board has been created to review any potential conflict of interest matters as they arise. The organization also has a Chief Compliance Officer. She reviews transactions, contracts, and other mattes of the corporation including potential matters that would produce conflict. The Compliance Officer is the final decision maker on moving forward with these transactions.

The Compensation Committee approves all compensation plans and guidelines, as well as all compensation for the organization's key employees in accordance with such plans and guidelines. The committee may consult with a nationally recognized consultant to assist in determining that the organization's compensation structure and ranges are reasonable.

The organization makes its governing documents, such as its by-laws, which includes the organization's conflict of interest policy, available to the public through the annual filing of the Massachusetts Division of Public Charities Form PC. The Form PC is available for viewing on the Massachusetts Attorney General's website and is also attached to the annual filing of the Massachusetts Form ABC, which is submitted to town offices where the organization owns or leases property. The Medical Center, the Physician Group, the Foundation, and MRHC Management Services, Inc. have been determined to be tax-exempt corporations as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the Code), and are exempt from federal income taxes on related income pursuant to Section 501(a) of the Code. In accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, the Organization annually evaluates its tax status and tax positions taken with respect to its operations and financials position. IRS990/Desc0Milford Regional Physicians Group has 16 primary care offices servicing the 20 communities of Central Massachusetts. Guided by its mission "to provide quality healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect", MRPG strives to be responsive to diverse constituencies, individuals and families of all ages, employees and employers of large and small business, physicians and other healthcare providers. As a charitable organization, we acknowledge out special concern for the need of the unserved and the undeserved, especially the poor and the minority populations. Our 49 primary care doctors concentrate in the three following disciplines: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Pediatrics. Patients of MRPG visited our primary care offices approximately 162,934 times in 2024. These primary care providers work in collaboration with specialists and the hospital in our service area using a team approach to provide the best health care possible for the member of our community. The availability of quality primary care is a priority to our organization, support the mission of Milford Regional Physician Group, Inc., and strengthens its ability to reach important strategic goals related to primary care.
