“Arlene mcnulty is contracted for an average of 20 hours per week to support widgb's day-to-day needs. She serves as the primary contact point for widgb members and prospective members and she staffs the widgb office. She provides telephone and email support as well as inquiry resolution for the general membership, the board and the executive director. She maintains the widgb database including data entry, member changes, and coordination with the web site maintenance firm. At the request of the board chair she generates reports, lists, and mailing labels drawn from the database as well as any reports regulary provided to a specific committee. She orchestrates scheduled monthly mailings, production of monthly job listings, oversee various associated vendors, and invoices advertisers. She also manages the membership renewal process, provides membership information to prospects, prepares the membership directory, copies and oversees the production and distribution of the printed directroy, and performs monthly updates to the on-line directory. In addition,she handles all advance registration for all widgb sponsored programs or events, and provides written back-up of all deposits to the bookkeeper. When directed by the committee chair, she maintains board lists, provides mailing labels or executes special mailings. She also provides support for selected committees on special projects, and provides support for the board as needed. Lastly, she houses and maintains all master and archive files.”

“Membership is available in two categories:non-profit membership - open to individuals who are or have been affiliated with non-profit organizations and with primary responsibility for the development of resources to support the organization, or who provide services in the field of institutional advancement and support the mission of wid of greater boston, inc.affiliate membership - open to individuals who support the mission of wid and are seeking to transition from the for-profit sector, or who currently work in an affiliated for-profit business or industry.”
