“In november 2024, women in development of greater boston (widgb) kicked off its 45th year with a fall kick-off keynote program. In total 189 guests attended this program. The topic was designed to enhance different areas of knowledge for women who work in fundraising/development in a variety of non-profit organizations in the community. In addition to the keynote events, wid also sponsored seven (7) virtual and in person monthly programs from 9/1/24-8/31/25 attended by a total of 467 people, of which 253 were wid members and 214 non-members. These programs were designed to enhance different types of fundraising skills of those who attended. The membership committee sponsored two virtual new member orientation programs formally welcoming 51 new members to wid. They also sponsored 3 (three) special members only programs attended by 148 members, plus 2 member only regional meet ups attended by 58 members. Our program year concluded with wid's annual meeting breakfast in june 2025 attended by 156 guests of whom 91 were members and 65 non-members.”
