Subsequent to june 30, 2020, the commonwealth of massachusetts issued an investigative summons to the organization. As of the date of this filing, the investigation remains ongoing. To the best of the organization's knowledge, the investigation involves related party transactions by and with the former president and executive director and possibly other issues involving the organization. The transactions in question span numerous years, including the year ended june 30, 2020 and fiscal year 2021. Related party transactions and potential related party transactions for the year ended june 30, 2020, known to the organization as of the date of this filing, are included in the related party disclosure section of this filing. As of the date of this filing, the organization is still in the process of determining the potential impact, if any, on the organization's finances, including potential impact to financial balances as of and for the year ended june 30, 2020. The organization is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The organization has hired a new interim executive director and has updated and restructured its board of directors.
