The training to work 3 (t2w3) program is a department of labor funded program led by imci and seeks to service incarcerated individuals from high crime and poverty areas by offering them job training, education, mentoring, while providing job placement and follow up services. Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Imci qualifies as an organization exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. As such, no provision has been made for federal or state income taxes. Imci evaluates and accounts for its uncertain tax positions in accordance with accounting standards codification topic 740, "income taxes," including imci's tax position as a tax-exempt, nonprofit entity. Through its evaluation of imci's uncertain tax positions, management has determined no uncertain tax positions existed as of june 30, 2016 or 2015, which would require imci to record a liability for the uncertain tax positions in its financial statements. Interest and penalties, if any, resulting from any uncertain tax position required to be recorded by imci would be presented in other expenses in the statements of activities. Federal and state income tax statutes dictate that tax returns filed in any of the previous three reporting periods remain open to examination. Currently, imci has no open examinations with the internal revenue service or the oklahoma tax commission.
