FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

Missouri river relief's mission is to engage individuals and communities along the missouri river in the exploration, enjoyment, restoration and care of the river through hands-on river clean-ups, education programs and recreation.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Missouri river relief hosts the mr340, a 340-mile race on the missouri river from kansas city to st. Charles. In 2023,701 paddlers from 4 countries and 38 states tested their mettle in 469 boats. This year's race was prematurely ended due to extreme weather and river conditions. To witness the determination of the racers, the grit of the ground crews and the hospitality of the volunteers is a truly inspiring thing. We're proud to be part of this amazing event that has changed the way our state looks at our river.
