Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART XI, LINE 9:

Unrealized appreciation on interest rate swap 276,473.

Form 990, Part X

The beginning balance sheet has been restated to correct the following errors: prior to 2017, the organization entered into lease agreements that qualified as capital leases under gaap however the arrangements were accounted for as operating leases. As of june 30, 2016, total assets were understated by $78,063, total liabilities were understated by $85,355, and the change in net assets was overstated by $7,292. Prior to 2017, the organization entered into commercial leases as the lessor that call for escalating rents over the terms of the lease. The revenue was not recorded on a straight-line basis in accordance with gaap, therefore rental income and assets were understated by $11,907 for 2016. During 2016, the organization received $66,050 in contributions restricted for the purpose of the adult employment academy that were presented as unrestricted contributions in the 2016 consolidated financial statements. As a result, temporarily restricted net assets were understated and unrestricted net assets were overstated by $66,050 as of june 30, 2016.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows fasb guidance for how uncertain tax positions should be recognized, measured, disclosed and presented in the consolidated financial statements. This requires the evaluation of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing the organization's tax returns to determine whether the tax positions are "more-likely-than-not" of being sustained "when challenged or "when examined" by the applicable tax authority. Tax positions not deemed to meet the more-likely-than-not threshold would be recorded as a tax expense and liability in the current year. Management evaluated the organization's tax position and concluded that the organization had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustments to the consolidated financial statements to comply with the provisions of this guidance. The organization is not currently under audit by any tax jurisdiction.
