Provided a focused set of professional development trainings, designed to promote mental health wellness and reduce suicide in Springfield, Vermont. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: University of Vermont Medical Center Community Health Investment Fund: Development and deployment of an Online Umatter Mental Health Resource which will offer an online course in suicide prevention and mental health promotion at Vermont schools. The course is designed to train professionals to identify colleagues and youth in their school with risk factors and warning signs for suicide. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Cheshire Medical Center dba Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CMC/DH): Assisted The Center for Population Health and Strategy and Practice at CMC/DH in completing a Project called Getting it Right Inside at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock on Substance Misuse to understand the burden of substance misuse on their organization. Activities included conducting an inventory of their substance misuse programs, activities and services, identifying gaps in services, and measuring the organizations readiness to expand services across the continuum of care. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: United Way of Windham County: Family Engagement Initiative: Conducted Needs Assessment among community organizations through online surveys to assess their strengths and needs around family engagement with the goal of promoting a coordinated effort from schools and community organizations towards making Family Engagement an institutional goal in their action plans to positively impact the health and well-being of Vermont students, particularly among underserved populations. Conducted a Family Engagement conference Best Practices for Family Engagement: Moving from Random Acts to a Comprehensive Approach which attracted 62 attendees. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: CHL Direct Trainings and Other:1)Conducted a Mental Health Training to Rutland High School students.2)Provided a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training to Rutland High School faculty.3)Conducted a 12-week online graduate level course titled Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) Prevention.4)Conducted a training in Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs for Twin Valley Elementary School, Wilmington, VT for faculty and staff.5)Provided a training to the Vermont Bar Association Annual Meeting titled Attorneys and Mental Health: Myths, Facts, Self-Care and Right Action.6)Provided a Suicide Prevention Community Awareness Training of Trainers to Support and Services at Home (SASH) staff in Burlington, VT.7)Continued planning work for marketing of CHLs Umatter Suicide Prevention trainings regionally and nationally.”

OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Cheshire Medical Center dba Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CMC/DH): Assisted The Center for Population Health and Strategy and Practice at CMC/DH in completing a Project called Getting it Right Inside at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock on Substance Misuse to understand the burden of substance misuse on their organization. Activities included conducting an inventory of their substance misuse programs, activities and services, identifying gaps in services, and measuring the organizations readiness to expand services across the continuum of care. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: United Way of Windham County: Family Engagement Initiative: Conducted Needs Assessment among community organizations through online surveys to assess their strengths and needs around family engagement with the goal of promoting a coordinated effort from schools and community organizations towards making Family Engagement an institutional goal in their action plans to positively impact the health and well-being of Vermont students, particularly among underserved populations. Conducted a Family Engagement conference Best Practices for Family Engagement: Moving from Random Acts to a Comprehensive Approach which attracted 62 attendees.
