“On april 1, 2020, the oma annual conference scheduled for april 24-25, 2020 was canceled due to concerns with the covid-19 pandemic. At that time, there were 119 attendees registered, 13 supporting exhibitors, and 12 speakers in place to present programs. Because registration of attendees and exhibitors had fallen short of our goals and because dma wanted to ensure a healthy, covid:-free environment, the decision was made to postpone the annual conference until 2021. Attendees and exhibitors were notified and refunded any registration fees paid.”

“The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide continuing education to dermatology and aesthetic medical practices, to provide a resource for administrators, managers, key personnel and aesthetic practitioners in dermatology and aesthetic medical practices, and to allow a foundation for networking among peers in dermatology and aesthetic medical practices.”

“Annual conference held on may 3-4, 2019 at marriott evergreen in stone mountain, ga. Progam agenda includes educational sessions for all practice staff and members covering topics such as: clinical issues, osha, insurance and payment changes, medical coding, hipaa, current compliance and regulations, hr challenges, financial benchmarking, employment law, and leadership. For practices with aesthetic services, program agendas also include marketing, social media platforms, inventory, and ceu's for laser technicians. The conference also incorporates an exhibit hall where program attendees can visit with various exhibitors during breaks, lunch and at the exhibitor's reception to learn about the latest products and services. Ceu's are available for most sessions and are issued at the event. This event was attended by the following: 108 managers 45 aestheticians 40 clinical staff 193 total additionally, 55 exhibitors registered and attended the exhibit hall.”
