WWA ALSO HAS A PHILOSOPHY TO LEARN TO TRAIN AFTER THE SWIMMER HAS GAINED PROFICIENCY IN STROKE MECHANICS. STROKE TECHNIQUE CONTINUES TO BE VITAL FOR DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER, AS THE SWIMMER BEGINS TO MAKE PHYSICAL CHANGES, TRAINING VOLUME IS OF EQUAL IMPORTANCE. WWA HAS A PHILOSOPHY TO TEACH SWIMMERS TO LEARN TO COMPETE. THIS PHASE IS A TRANSITION FROM AGE GROUP COMPETITION TO HIGH LEVEL SENIOR AND OPEN COMPETITITION. ATHLETES ARE EXPOSED TO COMPETITION ON A REGULAR BASIS IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE AT THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL TO EVENTUALLY COMPETE IN COLLEGIATE OR POST COLLEGIATE MEETS.
