AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE NJDC PORTFOLIO IS TO CONDUCT COMPREHENSIVE STATE-BASED JUVENILE INDIGENT DEFENSE PRACTICE AND POLICY ASSESSMENTS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SYSTEM STAKEHOLDERS, IN EACH OF THE 50 STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WITH KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE STATUS AND STRUCTURE OF THEIR SYSTEM.
