All board members are asked to complete the conflict of interest form whether they have a conflict or not. Follow up is performed if all of the forms are not collected. No conflict of interest was identified during the fiscal year.”

“The Executive Director and the Managing Director are employees of the State Bar of Texas. The State Bar of Texas charges the organization an administrative fee for compensation paid to employees on its behalf. The State Bar of Texas charges the organization a fixed fee adopted by the Board of Directors for the Executive Directors compensation. The State Bar charges the organization full salary and benefits for the Managing Director. The Executive Director reviews the annual performance of the Managing Director and compensation is based on that review. The Board adopts the budget which includes the administrative fees to cover compensation of its officers. The performance reviews and resulting salary increases are documented in each employees personnel file.”
