“Based on policy: the form 990 is prepared by the independent auditors and provided to the chief financial officer and controller for review. The chief financial officer will then forward the form 990 to the chief operational officer and chief executive officer. After their review, the form 990 is submitted to the members of the board finance committee for review and approval.”

All members of the board of directors are required to sign a conflict of interest policy statement annually, and employees are required to sign at the time of hire.”

“The president and ceo is employed by contract, which is reviewed before it expires. The board of directors engages an attorney and other qualified experts for assistance. The base for ceo's compensation is compared with other nonprofits, reviewed by an attorney, and approved by the board of directors to ensure reasonableness. The president and ceo is responsible for the compensation of his/her direct reports. In cases where his/her direct report is also a "disqualified person", the president and ceo will follow the procedures outlined for the president & ceo's compensation.”
