The usmma national parents association, inc. Is the parents association for the us merchant marine academy in kings point, ny. The association sponsors the annual parents weekend at the academy. The association will serve as a support organization for plebe candidates, their families, and all midshipmen and their families during their years at the academy. The association will assist and support the activities of the parents' association chapters throughout the country. It shall foster & encourage development of the academy and parents' association chapters and shall enhance the prestige thereof by acquisition, preservation and dissemination of information pertaining to the history, activities and objectives of the academy and parents' association chapters.
