“According to UAEM's bylaws, application for membership is open to any universityorganization and its members that supports the organizational purpose statement inArticle 1, Section 2 of the bylaws. The Board of Directors shall have the right to deny, or terminate, the membership of any organization or persons.”

In developing its recommendations, the HR Committee considers aparticular ED's professional and educational experience, performance as determinedby regular Board-conducted reviews, as well as the general responsibilities andrequirements of the ED position, compensation of executive staff at peerorganizations, and adjustments for inflation based on the Consumer Price Index.
