“The finance and the audit chair, the board chair, and the treasurer of pittsburgh regional healthcare initiative's supported organization, the jewish healthcare foundation of pittsburgh, reviews the 990 prior to filing. An announcement was made at year end board meeting that the 990 is available to any director or trustee upon request.”
“Pittsburgh regional healthcare initiative has a written policy that provides for annual survey and disclosure of conflicts of interest of members of the board. The policy includes procedures to be followed by the board and the conflicted member when any business involving potential conflict comes before the board.”
“Policy for determining compensation: ceo/president: the board of trustees for the jewish healthcare foundation's compensation committee annually reviews the president's overall compensation structure. Financial considerations are matched against performance related to priority goals agreed upon annually by the president and the executive committee of the board. As a result, their compensation is likewise excluded from part ix of form 990 to ensure accurate representation of pittsburgh regional healthcare initiative' financial activity.”
