“The organizations bylaws were amended to: 1) clarify and expand the existing criteria which determine eligibility provisions for membership and various classes of membership (which includes active, affiliate, and retired members); 2) outline provisions for consideration of financial hardship associated chapter activities; 3) add new sections relative to termination of membership (which requires a two-thirds vote of the chapter board of directors) and reinstatement of membership provisions; 4) expanded reemphasis of membership non-discrimination criteria; 5) revised criteria associated with the qualification requirements for consideration of the election of members of the board of directors; 6) limiting officers and directors to a four year term; 7) changing the annual number of board meetings to four; 8) board meetings - advance notification processes; 9) adding officer and director succession policies; and 10) clarifying the resignation and/or dismissal policies of officers and directors.”
