“Dassel cokato music boosters helped fundraise for the dassel cokato marching band, supporting 38 students representing our community in several parades. Two scholarships were given to graduating seniors who excelled in the band and choir programs. Supported the dassel cokato indoor drumline by helping with the home show where 7 drumlines competed. Also helped fundraise during the community show where members of the community were invited to watch the show and support the drumline. Also helped raise funds to send indoor drumline to dayton, ohio to compete in the national competition where they made it to the semi-final round competing against the top 32 groups in our class. Provided funds for fees for dassel cokato high school band and choir students to try out for and attend state honor band and state honor choir. Also supported the band and choir programs by providing the directors with funds to purchase additional supplies.”
