“The mission of the boothbay harbor one design association, is three fold: the perpetuation of the classic fleets of sailboats found in the boothbay region,particularly the boothbay harbor one design. To foster, support and or provide sailing and seamanship education for youths within the boothbay region either directly, or in conjunction with various related organizations. To raise funds through individual, corporate and foundation contributions in order to provide scholarships, funding and grants needed to establish, improve or maintain programs, projects, equipment or facilities to foster youth sailing and education in the region.”

“Members dues used to contribute to sailing scholarships for area youth, other outreach programs and organizations to promote bhod fleet. Bhod offers opportunities to children, sailors and non-sailers alike to share their common interest in all aspects of sailing and classic sailboats.”
