Mission

Educate the public to understand the logging industry in maine and increase the health of the maine forests; educate and train logging contractors in maine to promote compliance with forester and harvesting practices which maintain sustainable forestry levels.

Promote professional conduct among loggers in the state of maine; provide a forum for the resolution of issues of concern to logging contractors through communications, education and legislation; and promote compliance with forester and harvesting practices which maintain sustainable forestry levels.
