Income taxes the organization is a not for profit corporation recognized by the internal revenue service under section 501(c)(3) of the code. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been recorded in the accompanying financial statements. The organization did not have any unrelated business income for the years ended december 31, 2023 and 2022. The organization's income tax filings are subject to audit by various taxing authorities. Any interest or penalties assessed to the organization are recorded in operating expenses. For the years ended december 31, 2023 and 2022, there were no interest or penalties recorded in the accompanying financial statements.
