“The association is a membership organization that includes members who have the right under the organizing documents to participate in the organization's governance. The members have the right to elect members of the governing body.”

“A nominating committee shall be appointed by the president. This committee shall consist of the then incumbent president and two immediate past presidents (available to serve) or two other members. The immediate past president shall serve as the chairman. The committee shall recommend to the board, at or prior to the november member meeting, a candidate for each of the offices of president, senior vice president, vice president, and treasurer for the succeeding year. If the recommendation of the nominating committee is approved by the board of directors, the candidates so nominated shall be the offical nominees. Additional nominations may be made by declaration, provided such declaration is signed by at least twenty members, accompanied by the written acceptance of the nominee and filed with the office of the association by november 15th. All nominations are to be submitted to the membership by letter ballot for election. Each member in good standing may vote for each office.”
