Community based case management - the community support program meets the needs of veterans and other adults and families who experience severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, emotional behavioral problems. Consumers are provided with support and assistance in the community. Non-traditional outreach is offered, as well as unique, specialized group services. Children's case management enables parents to become informed about resources and to be able to effectively advocate for their child. For children who need mental health treatment, case management specialists can assist the parent or caregiver, teach the family to maximize the benefits of the treatment and provide continuous assessment for service planning. In addition, the behavioral health homes program seeks to improve the coordination of physical and behavioral needs of eligible adults and children.

Vocational clubhouse program: the clubhouse model of psychiatric rehabilitation is used at the capitol clubhouse in augusta, the high hopes clubhouse in waterville, village clubhouse in topsham and looking ahead clubhouse in lewiston. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for adults who experience mental illness by providing social, educational and employment opportunities. The clubhouses help support members with overcoming barriers to employment by offering services such as job development, job placement, job coaching and job support. The multi-systemic therapy program is provided to children and family members in their homes. The program addresses serious issues that, if unresolved, could lead to a child's removal from the home. Multi-systemic therapy helps identify, support and strengthen the family's skills and resources to meet the needs of the child and family. This therapeutic technique is designed to reduce out-of-home placements through the use of intensive in-home and community-based interventions. Home community treatment services provides an intensive, time-limited home and community-based intervention service for families experiencing difficulties and/or conflict. The program provides safe, appropriate, therapeutic contact between children and parents who have been separated. Kennebec behavioral health's school based program provides clinical services within a child's academic setting so that children do not have to leave school or miss after school activities in order to receive clinical treatment. This program is available in schools throughout central and midcoast maine. The substance use disorder program helps adults, adolescents and families whose lives have been disrupted by harmful relationships with abused substances. The program provides integrated services for people who have mental health concerns co-occurring with substance-use disorder. The independent housing program offers independent housing units which provide income-eligible consumers with housing and access to kennebec behavioral health programs and services and other community services. The program also manages two rental subsidy programs for eligible individuals that pay a monthly rent subsidy to local landlords to eligible consumers helping to reduce their housing costs. Adult and youth homeless outreach services include outreach and engagement, assessment, case-management linkage with housing and supports and linkages to mainstream resources. Outpatient services: counseling and therapy services for adults and children at agency facilities. Telecounseling is also offered for clients based on preference. Opioid health home-skowhegan: screening/assessment, medication management, treatment, office visits and recovery support for people with opioid use disorder.
