B. The exercise of the following powers by the Board of Trustees of the Corporation shall be subject to the approval of the MCPH Board and notification to the Board of Trustees or Executive Committee of the Corporate Member: 1.authorization for debt incurred, assumed, or guaranteed by the Corporation, or other financial commitment by the Corporation, in excess of $1,000,000 (but not exceeding $5,000,000), other than as provided for in approved capital and operating budgets; 2.authorization for any sale, capitalized lease, assignment, transfer, mortgage or encumbrance of any properties or assets of the Corporation having an aggregate value in excess of $1,000,000 (but not exceeding $5,000,000); and 3.authorization for the capital investment in an individual, entity or project including the purchase, license or lease of real estate or another capital asset, in the form of cash or either tangible or intangible property in excess of $1,000,000 (but not exceeding $5,000,000), other than as provided for in approved capital and operating budgets. C.
